Antoinette, artist

I am a British artist born in Surrey. I studied graphic design and Illustration at Epsom School of Art and Design, and then at The Southampton Institute. After graduating I  changed course and decided I wanted to paint and exhibit, which I have been doing ever since.

I am a full-time artist working from my studio in the Haute-Vienne region of France.  I have  exhibited extensively in the U.K and  all across Europe. My work has also been shown in Canada. My paintings are in private collections worldwide and my work is licensed for wall-art in the United States.

Most of my work is inspired by nature. Often depicting solitary figures or animals in magical landscapes. Sunsets, night-skies, red-heads and children are also recurring themes. Some of my works reflect a quirky English sense of humour.

My preferred medium is acrylic on canvas or paper, Occasionally I work in oils or coloured pencils. I welcome commissions and am adaptable to a client's needs,  discussing and exchanging ideas  together to create a unique piece of artwork for them.
